Description |
Black Feather |
|
This black feather was given to Kik-Pud in early 1998 by Seer Greyston who was, at the time, in the form of a crow. Kik-Pud jokingly asked how many feathers he would get if he killed the Seer, to which Greyston replied by giving him a black feather. Greyston also said the feather would not leave Kik-Pud's body if he were to die. This item's current location is unknown, possibly it is still owned by Kik-Pud. |
Blackrock |
|
From the FOA Quest. It was sought by the Followers of Armageddon
[FoA] in their mission to destroy the world with the dreaded Armageddon spell. ImaDufus and Lord Avatar both had pieces, but I believe that Lord Avatar's was destroyed. |
Blue Lantern |
No Picture |
This was called The Light of Virtue. It was owned by Lord Orion KoY/PTO and then went to Lord Avatar. Believed destroyed. |
Bow of the Undead |
|
On Halloween 1999 the "Three Brother's of Evil" (Green Zombie Lords) attacked three different cities... The bow was from the corpse of the Zombie Lord which attacked Skara Brae. It has two sister weapons, one is the Longsword of the Undead, the other is the Quarterstaff of the Undead (see below.) I heard that the owner of this weapon lost connection while fighting orcs. When he came back, he was dead and the weapon was gone. Either it was eventually picked up from an orc corpse by a player or it is gone for good. |
Colored Cakes |
|
A certain GM created these when they were promoted to IGM. I have pictured, from left to right, normal cake, pink, orange, fire, yellow, green, blue, purple and black (funeral.) Some GM's don't seem to know where they came from, as they will delete these on sight. I have all except orange, blue and black. |
Corin Gerald jewelry |
|
Corin was a Seer who used to have a shop in Trinsic by the south bank. He sold silver jewelry at normal prices as well as some other jewelry items. Now very few remain and they are considered very desirable. |
Crag |
No Picture |
Sage Humbolt sweetened the pot for some of those who retrieved items for him by giving those who returned a magic weapon, sometimes letting them choose, and sometimes just choosing for them. The Crag, a Black Staff, was probably the hardest for Sage Humbolt to relinquish to the hands of a stranger. Its origin is unknown, but its strength is reknowned throughout the land. It had been handed down from family member to family member in Sage Humbolt's family for many generations. Sage Humbolt graciously sacrificed this heirloom to entice the good citizens to find the items he needed to defeat the liches Lathiari and Kyrnia. Location unknown. |
Crystalline Blackrock |
|
Crystalline Blackrock is a derivative of blackrock. This type was found in the obsidian chests guarded by obsidian wisps during the FoA chronicles. Crystalline Blackrock contained a large number of Teleportation charges. |
Broadsword crafted by Zemaj Taldor |
|
Zemaj Taldor was a seer with a shop in Jhelom which later moved to Skara Brae. There are very few weapons left on the shard that were crafted by him; this is one of them. |
Desert Ostard Skin Boots |
|
These are newbied and will not leave your body when you die. However, they can not be locked down. |
Diamond |
|
These rained down from the sky at the end of the Singing Sword quest. It has been rumored that very few are left on the Pacific shard. These are sometimes referred to as "valek's diamonds." |
Dungeon Keeper 2 Stone |
|
This was a prize a few years back. It entitled the holder to a free copy of Dungeon Keeper 2. It looks like a virtue stone or guildstone teleporter and is VERY dark. [A gray border was placed around this stone, otherwise it could not be seen] |
Falchion made by Zamaj Taldor |
No Picture |
The Falchion was made of a special ore called Electrum. Evidentally, some orcs were mining to make a very powerful weapon. Seer Zemaj hired a group of warriors to stop them and to retrieve the electrum. Only one warrior returned with the electrum ore, and the Zemaj made a broad sword from it. Lord Orion-DX had it, then it went to Lord Avatar. Damage was like a vanquishing halberd, but fast as a katana. Believed destroyed. |
Festival of the Grape Glass |
|
Given out during the Yew Wine Festival of the Grape. |
Fire |
No Picture |
I have seen at least two of these. They appear to be one section of the "fire field" spell and can be picked up, moved, and locked down. These were taken from the burning boat that was crashed by Moonglow in the pirate quest. |
Forest Ostard Skin Gloves |
|
These are what I think of as a "sister item" to the Desert Ostard Skin Boots and other early T2A quest items. Newbied so they will not leave your body upon death, but can not be locked down either. Currently owned by Celtain Britain. |
Glass Swords |
No Picture |
The Glass Swords of Fire, Light, and Honesty are probably the rarest items on the shard. Two of them, the Swords of Fire and Light still exist. The third Glass Sword, the Glass Sword of Honesty, was used by someone for an unknown purpose. The remaining Glass Swords, the Glass Sword of Fire (a red katana),and the Glass Sword of Light(a white viking sword) are safely hidden away. They will soon be on display in the owner's Museum in Trammel. |
Green Lantern |
|
It is unknown what quest this item was a part of, or reward for. GM's destroyed this item as they believed it was from a Senior Counselor, and therefore illegal. |
Green Leather Armor |
No Picture |
This set was sewn/crafted by GM Ostara. Unlike the other armor crafted by Ostara, this was a reward for completeing a quest. The set also included a Halberd, Katana, and matching green sandals. |
Green Studded Leather Armor |
|
Made by GM Ostara as a reward for winning a Player Vs. Player tournament. Set includes leather cap, studded gorget, studded sleeves, studded tunic and studded leggings. Messed up by localization -- shows as GM made and as Magical. |
Geurtaang |
|
Guertang, a magic viking sword of thunder and vanquishing, was also named the Sword of Honor. I was told that this sword was given to Saria during the FOA quest, then to Orion-DX, after which it went to Lord Avatar. The stratics page claims that it was a quest with Nystul and was awarded to "Knight". The sword was originally red, but later unhued by a GM. Believed destroyed. |
Halbard made by Zemaj Taldor |
|
A halberd made by Seer Zemaj Taldor using electrum ore taken in a quest from orcs. One of two weapons created by the Seer Zemaj after his warriors successful retrieved the ore from the orcs. Naming affected by localisation changes. Currently owned by Temper Vale. |
Hammerfist |
|
Sage Humbolt sweetened the pot for some of those who retrieved items for him by giving those who returned a magic weapon, sometimes letting them choose, and sometimes just choosing for them. The Mace, HammerFist, was hewn from a molten blob by the Bobbit hero Bonchu. Bonchu was thought to have been the first Bobbit to single handedly strike down an Ettin. Alas, he was not strong enough to save his race from the hideous plague that the fiend Mondain released upon them before the end. Location unknown. |
Headband of Ezerkot |
No Picture |
From the 2nd Festival of Masks. There was a game played where participants had to find The Box on a player in the crowd. The Box (see below) contained the Lantern of Ezerkot and the Headband of Ezerkot. |
Lantern of Ezerkot |
No Picture |
From the 2nd Festival of Masks. There was a game played where participants had to find The Box on a player in the crowd. The Box (see below) contained the Lantern of Ezerkot and the Headband of Ezerkot. I was also told that this was made by Seer Zemaj Taldor. Pregnator of KGB owned it before it went to Lord Avatar. Believed destroyed. |
Liche Skull Candle |
|
This is a lit skull candle and was given as first prize for a Costume Contest held on Halloween, 1999 in Skara Brae. When single clicked it reads 'a liche skull candle'. Blessed. |
Longsword of the Undead |
|
On Halloween 1999 the "Three Brother's of Evil" (Green Zombie Lords) attacked three different cities... The Longsword was from the corpse of a Zombie Lord which attacked Trinsic (my home town!!) It has two sister weapons, one is the Bow of the Undead (see above) and one is the Quarterstaff of the Undead (see below.) This weapon is on display in Castle Iceweasel, however, like all IGM created weapons, it was effected by localization. GM's can tell that they are labelled "of the undead", but players can not. GM Roryn told me that they will not fix them individually (like Starblade did with the Quarterstaff); the dev team is aware of the issue and will make a fix for it. Someday. |
Lucifer's Fang |
Here's a picture of me holding it. |
A quest item. This is a twin sword of "The Canine"; each sword was made from the tooth of an old Balron. A GM was bringing them to Lord British as a gift when he was attacked by a group of GM Thieves. I purchased an account that had this item on it, then gave it to Orion-DX, where from it went to Lord Avatar... Believed destroyed. |
Magic Key |
|
Possibly a quest item. Unknown at this time. |
Necklace of Ostard Talons |
|
Looks like a while pearl necklace. Owned by Kahnee of CV. Newbied, can't be locked down. |
Ophidian Bone Dagger |
No Picture |
No information is known. Saw it for sale on ebay. Believed to be newbied and not displayable. |
Pirate Quest items |
|
These items are from the "pirate quest" -- the quest that ended with the moongate being open from Buc's Den. I have seen movable fire field pieces that were also from this quest. |
Polar Bear Mask |
|
Looks like a bear mask, except it is white. There is one on Pacific owned by Lord Tamer Bob, thank you Niko for the information! |
Quarterstaff of the Undead |
|
On Halloween 1999 the "Three Brother's of Evil" (Green Zombie Lords) attacked three different cities... The Quarterstaff was from the corpse of a Zombie Lord which attacked Britain. It has two sister weapons, one is the Bow of the Undead (see above) and the other is the Longsword of the Undead (see above.) Currently owned by Gilgamesh, but it was for sale on eBay. GM Starblade fixed the name for this weapon after localization by turning it into a regular quarterstaff and renaming it, so its magical properties are gone. |
Reagent Box |
|
I have heard that in 1997, there was a Seer who was sick with an illness that needed a special reagent to cure. The two prizes given were the Reagent Box and a unique flask. Supposedly, the owner of the flask broke it by pouring liquid into it. The Reagent Box looks like a square basket when opened and says "Reagent Box" when single clicked. |
Rylthynynnolinshyn |
|
Sage Humbolt sweetened the pot for some of those who retrieved items for him by giving those who returned a magic weapon, sometimes letting them choose, and sometimes just choosing for them - this is one of those weapons, a bow named for its elven origin. Drawn tight by the great elven bowyer Iynolinyshyn Fyrhyinjuionen (referred to as Iyno by his human friends) this bow struck down a dragon, supposedly, with but one shot. Although its power is diminished from those wilder times of more powerful magic, it is still quite formidable. This was last in the possession of Lord Avatar. Supposedly, the bow did about 70 points of damage per hit. *ouch* Believed destroyed. |
Sash of Jou'Nar |
|
Sash worn by the henchmen of Juo'nar back in early 1998. A red sash titled as "You see odd insignia and mystical writing, that ends with the name Juo'Nar". Juo'nar was a founding leader of the Zog Cabal. The quest this sash originated from was prior to Juo'nar's death and his later return as a lich. Currently owned by Kahnee of CV. |
Skull Cap of Terathan Silk |
No Picture |
Believed to be newbied and not displayable. Not sure if there is an extra AR. Saw it for sale on ebay. |
Serpent's Bane |
No Picture |
This spear was created to defeat the Ivory Serpent, using a magical spear (a spear of vanquishing) coated with a special poison concocted by famous chef Ben Kahns, which would prevent the Serpent from regenerating it's wounds. The name of the weapon was etched apon it by Zemaj. The weapon was given to those who helped against the Serpent. |
Serpent's Bite |
|
A rusty Halberd found in the belly of the Ivory Serpent. It was cleaned and discovered to have magical powers of it's own. Last I heard, it was in the possession of Wolfgar, owner of Serpent's Bite vendors on Barrier Isle in Felucca. |
Shirt of Terathan Silk |
|
Gives 14AR when equipped. Newbied and not displayable. |
Silver Jewelry Set, Ostara |
|
Crafted by IGM Ostara. As far as I know, there is only one set. (There are other silver jewelry sets by Corin Gerald, though.) |
StoneBite |
|
Sage Humbolt sweetened the pot for some of those who retrieved items for him by giving those who returned a magic weapon, sometimes letting them choose, and sometimes just choosing for them. The sword, StoneBite, was crafted by the Legendary Jindam Ro. A reknowned blacksmith and weapons crafter, he was the greatest metal smith of his age. Witnesses and legend say the he could fold metal with the slightest touch of his hand. Last I heard, Orion KoY/PTO had this item, then gave it to Lord Avatar. Evidentally, it worked like a vanquishing sword the first time, but hit harder and harder with each successive hit. Believed destroyed. |
StormFang |
|
Mennovh obtained StormFang during a quest in October of 1997. It shoots a lightning bolt on every swing. StormFang's current location is unknown, possibly it is still owned by Mennovh. |
Tarot Cards of Ill Fortune |
|
Third prize given for a Costume Contest on Halloween, 1999 in Skara Brae. Blessed. |
The Box |
|
From the 2nd Festival of Masks. There was a game played where participants had to find The Box on a player in the crowd. The Box contained the Lantern of Ezerkot and the Headband of Ezerkot. |
Uolinsho |
|
Sage Humbolt sweetened the pot for some of those who retrieved items for him by giving those who returned a magic weapon, sometimes letting them choose, and sometimes just choosing for them. Crafted by the great elven bowyer Iynolinyshyn Fyrhyinjuionen (referred to as Iyno by his human friends), it was a gift to a human friend who lacked the grace and finesse to wield the elves normal bows. This weapon was a sign of the enduring friendship between elves and man. This item's current location is unknown. |
Vial of Daemon's Essence |
|
Second prize given for a Costume Contest held on Halloween, 1999 in Skara Brae. Blessed. |
Wedding Rings |
|
There are various rings around that were made by IGM's for weddings. Blessed. |
